The deeper interconnectedness of all things and events implies that the mental labels of “good” and “bad” are ultimately illusory. Mental labels always imply a limited perspective and so are true only relatively and temporarily.
There are no random events, nor are there events or things that exist by and for themselves in isolation. The present moment can sometimes seem unacceptable, unpleasant, or awful. However, it is as it is. Observe how the mind labels it and how this labeling process, this continuous sitting in judgment, creates pain and unhappiness.
Whatever the present moment contains, accept it as if you had chosen it. Always work with it, not against it. Make it your friend and ally, not your enemy. This will miraculously transform your whole life.
